How Deathly Hallows Ended for Luna:

Luna Lovegood could barely hear the bangs, explosions, and crashings of the war outside the forest’s walls. She was walking deeper and deeper into the forest, her only source of light was her wand. Eventually she stopped in her path and looked around.

Smiling and nodding her head, she took off her radish earrings and placed them on the cold, forest floor. She waited a few seconds but then a heavy wind materialized and swayed the trees and bushes all around her. Eventually, Luna spoke out, “Come out my friends.”

Thousands of tiny, golden lights floated from the treetops and hovered above Luna’s head. “Wrackspurts, you are dancing beautifully tonight my sweethearts!”

Then the ground shook and Luna looked for the source. The trees then suddenly ignited and heavy fire overtook the area. From the fire, about twenty flaming creatures emerged. “Oh hello my heliopath friends. I am glad the minister could spare you to help me fight tonight.”

Several more minutes passed and several more strange and rare creatures emerged from the dark of the forest. Soon Luna Lovegood was accompanied by wrackspurts, heliopaths, blibbering humdingers, nargles, and gulping plimpies.

A band of death eaters had just finished obliterated the protective spells surrounding the entrance hall when a small blonde girl appeared behind them. One of the death eaters looked at the little girl and began laughing. “You’ve come to fight darling? Why don’t you just save me the trouble and run along towards the pile of dead bodies?”

With that the ground began to shake. The darkened men began to whimper in fear when they saw the menacing array of creatures summoned by the young girl.

The creatures then began to fight the death eaters. A wooden chariot pulled by a large Crumple-Horned Snorkacks appeared and Luna climbed aboard. She then rode around the castle and led her creatures to battle.

Hermione Granger sent a stunning jinx at a death eater on the third floor. The man crumpled against a window and then he fell to his death. Hermione ran to the window to look to see if the man was truly done. To her surprise, she spotted Luna Lovegood on a wooden cart being trailed by a strange and vast array of creatures.

With her eyes bulging out of her head in surprise, Hermione whispered, “You’ve got to be shitting me.”
